Privacy Policy

Wren Club ("Wren", "we") is operated by DakJen Creative LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you apply to or use Wren Club, why, and the choices you have. Questions: admin@thewrenclub.com.

What we collect

• Application details you give us: name, email, business name, website, location, industry, approximate annual revenue, years in business, business structure, how you heard about us, referral name, and your written answers.
• Member profile: the above plus a title, bio, expertise, an optional EIN you choose to provide for revenue verification, an optional profile photo, and an optional video-call link.
• Activity inside the member app: posts, comments, hearts, job listings, logged contracts between members, referrals, event RSVPs, messages to other members and to the Wren team, and scheduled calls.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, billing interval, status, and renewal date. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

What we don't do

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent your information. The only cookies we set are the sign-in session cookies that keep you logged in to the member or admin app. For page-view statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify you personally; no advertising networks or third-party trackers are used.

How we use it

• To review your application and verify revenue tier.
• To run the membership: your directory profile, contract tracking, events, messaging, and billing.
• To send transactional email (application updates, account setup, password resets, payment links, referral notices). These are necessary to provide the service and are not marketing.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Who sees it

• Other members see your directory profile (name, business, tier, location, industry, bio, expertise, photo) and anything you post. Your email, revenue, EIN, and billing details are never shown to other members.
• Service providers that process data for us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Vercel Blob (profile photos), Stripe (payments), and Brevo (transactional email). Each is bound by its own privacy terms and only processes data to provide its service.
• We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

Applications that are declined or withdrawn are kept for up to 12 months so we can handle re-applications fairly, then deleted. Member data is kept while your membership is active and for up to 12 months afterwards, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes. Email us to request earlier deletion.

Your choices

• Edit your profile at any time inside the app.
• Cancel your membership in two clicks from Profile → Tiers; see the Terms.
• Email admin@thewrenclub.com to access, correct, export, or delete your data. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Wren Club is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If we materially change this policy we'll update the date above and notify active members by email.
